- The visual Agent Builder canvas is removed. Workflows left in it stop running. ChatKit stays available.

- Any team that built agent workflows in Agent Builder (launched Oct 6, 2025) and any ChatKit embed pointing at an Agent Builder workflow.
- Official migration path
- Export each workflow as Agents SDK code (Python or TypeScript) and run it on your own backend, or recreate it as a ChatGPT Workspace Agent.
- What the official path does not cover
- OpenAI states the export does not convert the workflow graph and does not guarantee unchanged behavior. A ChatKit embed that used an OpenAI-hosted workflow needs a new self-hosted backend.
